In 2024, my agency hosted the Centrifuge Active Killer Instructor course, and it proved to be an incredibly relevant and effective training. The course offered a fresh perspective on active killer response, incorporating live fire, breaching, solo and small-unit interior tactics and medical. This practical, multistage approach set it apart from other active killer response trainings I’ve attended. We have since integrated several of the blocks of instruction into our academy and in-service training.
