Vehicle Interdiction Techniques Instructor

The VIT Instructor course provides comprehensive training on the need, logistics, and sustainment of a capable vehicle interdiction program. Participants will explore key topics such as current case law, standard operating procedures (SOPs), vehicle and facility maintenance, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), operational best practices, training formats, and safety protocols.

The course begins with classroom instruction and progresses to an intensive, hands-on learning experience. Students will work through scenarios ranging from static to fully mobile opposition using consumable vehicles, all under the guidance of experienced instructors.

As part of the course, students will take on the role of instructors, setting learning objectives, managing role players, maintaining track and training vehicles, establishing safety protocols, teaching various TTPs, and providing real-time feedback to peers.

The VIT Instructor course is demanding, with long, intensive days and nights. This is not a beginner-level course, and participants are expected to have a solid understanding of basic team concepts. The VIT end user course is NOT a prerequisite as that material will be covered in the first 20 hours of instructor variant. Upon successful completion students will leave with all LP, SOP, PPT, Videos presented in the course.
