The Active Killer Interdiction End User course is an intensive and comprehensive 3-day program. The program focuses on laying a foundation for a proactive solo officer response to an Active Killer incident. The response subsequently scales up as more resources become available. The tactics, techniques, and procedures shown are based on tried-and-true law enforcement approaches to minimize risk and maximize effectiveness.
Students will be taught the principles and concepts of interior and exterior movements, patrol level breaching, the balancing of speed and accuracy, shot accountability, communication, link ups, and transitioning to medical interventions.
Students will be required to pass an individual safety and performance evaluation. Upon successful completion of the 24-hour course, Students will receive a certificate from Centrifuge Training, LLC.

In 2024, my agency hosted the Centrifuge Active Killer Instructor course, and it proved to be an incredibly relevant and effective training. The course offered a fresh perspective on active killer response, incorporating live fire, breaching, solo and small-unit interior tactics and medical. This practical, multistage approach set it apart from other active killer response trainings I’ve attended. We have since integrated several of the blocks of instruction into our academy and in-service training.
