Sold Out Fundamentals of Defensive Handgun at Range 35

This course will be taught by Louis “Bones” Silvestro of Lonestar Preparations and Detective Chuck Hinton.

This introductory class is designed to impart the fundamentals of handgun fighting onto students with little-to-no defensive firearms training. This course focuses on core marksmanship and weapon handling skills, mindset, and individual tactics with an eye toward preparing the students for success in actual confrontations. This course is a good starting point for people new to defensive firearms training, as well as a good skill refresher course for people who have not had the opportunity to train as often as they would like.

Course Prerequisites:

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Able to legally carry a firearm.
  • Able to demonstrate and employ safe weapons handling during courses of fire.

Required Equipment:

  • Handgun with minimum of 3 magazines, holster and mag pouches.
  • Eyes and ears.
  • Handheld Tactical Light (and weapon light, if available).
  • 400 rounds per day.
