Dave Frederick

Dave brings over 19 years of combined public safety experience, including four years of active military duty and more than 15 years in law enforcement. Currently serving with a statewide agency in the Northeast, he has spent the bulk of his career in high-volume urban environments.

His assignments have included uniform patrol, highway patrol, aggressive anti-crime units, and gang task forces. Dave also serves as a field training officer, background investigator, and consultant specializing in violent crime investigations. He is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in firearms investigations.

As a multi-disciplined, certified firearms instructor, Dave spent several years as full-time academy cadre before advancing to range master and program developer. In these roles, he overhauled numerous statewide firearms and tactics programs, enhancing training standards and officer readiness.

Committed to remaining active in the field, Dave has earned dozens of awards and commendations from his agency and partner organizations for his performance in critical incidents. Passionate about mentorship, he is dedicated to sharing his expertise and commitment to principled, effective policing with fellow officers.
