Starting in 2013 with a state law enforcement agency, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to his role as an instructor. Currently, he oversees patrol tactics training which includes vehicle tactics, close-quarters battle (CQB), low-light operations, and high-risk stops. His in-depth understanding of law enforcement operations is grounded in real-world experience, including daily calls for service and directed patrols in urban environments.
Before his current role, Steve served as the lead for the state agency’s firearms program, where he developed and implemented training protocols for officers across the state. He regularly teaches both academy recruits and in-service personnel, providing high-level instruction in firearms and tactical operations. His teaching philosophy centers on combining hands-on, scenario-based training with a focus on safety, precision, and real-world applicability.
Steve’s extensive experience as a trooper, combined with his passion for training and mentoring fellow law enforcement professionals, makes him a valued resource for officers seeking to enhance their skills and operational readiness.
